Understanding London time
When is a good time to call?
Aim for 09:00–17:00 in London. Open a converter above to see how that working window lands in another city.
Does London change its clocks?
London changes seasonally: the offset is UTC in January and UTC+1 in July. Always use the date of the call rather than assuming today’s gap.
London’s clock changes with the season
London uses Europe/London. The United Kingdom calls the winter clock GMT and the summer clock British Summer Time, so a future call should use the city and date rather than assume a fixed UTC offset.
